Big supermarket with a wide range of products. I picked up sushi, some deli items like fried shrimp and paella, and even found steak tartare. Definitely not the cheapest, but the variety and quality were great. Located in the basement of a shopping mall, so it’s comfortably air-conditioned — perfect for browsing. ✨

We were out for an early evening stroll in the centre when Jorvic spotted this delicatessen. He had seen a YouTube video that suggested trying the dried tuna. A good decision. A taste and texture sensation. ( decided to take some home.) Paulicarus suggested a sweet sherry to accompany. Lovely place. Sadly the rain returned so we stayed for more sherry, vermouth and a racion of pork and bean stew.

It offers a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, alongside other essentials you might need during your stay. Dobrze zaopatrzony supermarket, chyba najlepszy w okolicy. Jest tu wszystko, czego można potrzebować podczas pobytu w Maladze i to w rozsądnych cenach.

Best supermarket in the area, Everything you need for your stay in Malaga and at reasonable prices. Much cheaper than the smaller Carrefour shop accross the square. I have knocked down to 4 star because the Isles are narrow so difficult yo get past people when it’s busy. Usually open from 9am to 9.30pm though closes earlier on Sundays.

Fantastic gourmet shop where you can find the best quality products including iberic ham, chorizo, Malaga’s raisins… They also have Moscovitas, a sweet from Asturias that is delicious!! Very friendly staff. They also have a bakery next door where you can try pestinos, locas or borrachuelos amongst other local delicacies. You are in Spain and this is a local shop and their main clientele is local people so if you can’t communicate maybe try use google translate or learn Spanish rather than the staff learning English but don’t rate poorly because they do not speak other languages.

Hard to find authentic shops in the center of Malaga – but here you are right for all kinds of typical regional specialities from finest hams over cheese, vines, liquors and canned tuna. Perfect quality and friendly family service with individual reommendations. Price range from good quality entry to the finest top – always affordable and honest. A perfect place to buy your food for an evening on your terrace, the sundowner snack or the regional gifts.

The cashier was fine, but the other guys was very rude. He was suddenly mad at me when I wanted to change my ice cream to a different one.

Avoid at all costs, especially tourists. Went in to buy some water due to warm weather. Gave him a €20, he gave me only €3 saying I gave him €5. Started shouting at me to leave or else he would call the police. Based on reviews, he has done similar things several times
