No puedo más que recomendar Explora Málaga, tanto a los malagueños como a los turistas. En abril hice un Free Tour en inglés con una amiga por el centro de Málaga y lo disfrutamos mucho. Y hoy he tenido la suerte de visitar durante más de 2 horas el Jardín Botánico-Histórico de La Concepción con Luis y me ha encantado. Es un sitio precioso, con mucha historia y una riqueza botánica impresionante. Merece muchísimo la pena.

The Tours guy Jesus was really nice. He talked to us a lot about the history. He showed us a lot of nice monuments and a lot of nice facts. I would really recommend coming here. We have completed several free walking tours internationally. The original group was very large and we were successfully split into three groups (1 Spanish and 2 English speaking). Our guide Maria was brilliant, knowledgeable and funny! We managed to get caught up in a huge pilgrimage group on our approach to the Cathedral. Following which we were lucky enough to view the amazing Easter procession floats in their storage area. During the tour Maria explained the history of the area and the city. Despite the rain we thoroughly enjoyed the morning. A very comprehensive tour and highly recommend.

I had the evening Malaga tour with our guide Charlie. He was funny, kind and made everyone in the group feel included, he has an amazing memory for everyone’s names!! El Tour que hice por Málaga centro con Vanesa fue muy muy recomendable. Era la primera vez que estaba en Málaga y la verdad que desconocía muchas cosas de las que nos contó de una manera muy interactiva, incluso con recreaciones de cómo se encontraban las estructuras arquitectónicas actuales en el pasado o imágenes que nos ayudasen a entender el paso del tiempo hasta el presente. Hacía muchísimo calor y es de agradecer que intento que estuviésemos a la sombra y que no se hiciera muy tedioso ya que fue a última hora también. Nos dió grandes recomendaciones lo cual le agradezco profundamente. Cristina was a lovely tourguide who not only took us expertly through Alcazaba. But she was also kind to share her knowledge of Malaga and the surrounding areas, providing us with the “must sees” as well as what to avoid. Nacho è una guida molto coinvolgente e il tour per Malaga con lui è stato davvero interessante, soprattutto per le tante informazioni che non si trovano sul web. Nonostante il tour fosse in lingua spagnola e Nacho parlasse abbastanza velocemente, come d’altra parte facciamo pure noi italiani, abbiamo capito lo stesso e ci siamo anche divertite con il suo “test” su Picasso. Esther is a fabulous tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of the Picasso Museum in Malaga. She was interesting and engaging, her energy and passion for her subject was clear and this came through during the tour. Everything was amazing! Out tour gide was Lydia and she was incredible – nice, funny, and really prepared – for example she had all the pictures of how Alcazaba looked before, or Roman theather. Highly recommend!
