Great golf course. Played Calanova & Santana previously but this was a step above the rest! Challenging course but well maintained with some fantastic views in pine forest area. Enjoyed the 19th hole too with a beautiful clubhouse bar & restaurant.
Was part of an Irish group on a golfing trip and played this golf course.
We were all in agreement that this was one of the best courses we ever played.
It was a mental test aswell as a golfing test where some holes offered a high risk/reward option.
The par 5’s were spectacular, the fairways perfect.
The 18th is a monster par 3 that is beautifully set in the picturesque surrounds.
Would just love to play this course again.

Este año hemos jugado el campo en modo “temporada baja – bajísima” con los tees adelantadísimos y muy provisionales a la espera de estrenar los nuevos en la temporada alta dentro de menos de un mes. En horario de twilight además. Una experiencia distinta en los segundos golpes con approaches mucho más cortos de lo normal y el equipo imagino que centrado en el próximo estreno de las mejoras. Y ya les gustaría a muchos campos de renombre presentar tees y greenes así… fantástico todo.
Santana se ha ganado a pulso su fama, (sobre todo entre el público extranjero), en mi opinión, de forma completamente merecida. Es un diseño impresionante con un nivel de mantenimiento sorprendente y un personal acogedor y muy profesional. Da gusto venir.
En nuestro grupo somos 2 jugadores scratch y el forrabolas que escribe estas líneas y todos nos divertimos mucho siempre. Una filosofía de diseño que debería ser la normal pero que lamentablemente es una rareza. Calles anchas -y planas para la Costa del Sol- y dificultades donde tienen que estar.

Played course Sunday 20th September Course in great condition was our 3rd game in 3 days so it was very forgiving but challenging and made it extremely enjoyable.. staff on course, clubhouse and bar staff some of the most friendly came across nothing was any trouble. As a society that travel abroad every year it’s one I will be recommending to my network of friends and colleagues..
The condition was perfect. The course is located far from buildings so it’s quiet and peaceful.

Played this course for the last 3 years now and never disappoints. From start to finish the staff everywhere are very welcoming. The course is very well maintained but challenging, greens are slick and the views are amazing. We took advantage of the unlimited golf offer and played twice. I would definitely recommend this course.
As stated in other reviews the clubhouse views are brilliant overlooking the 18th green. There is a variety of food on offer and is of good quality.

Great golf course. We rented buggies and golf set’s here and played the 18 holes (reception and store are downstairs). Staff at the reception and golf store were very friendly and made you feel welcome.
We had lunch after hole #9 in the clubhouse. Clubhouse has nice outside seating. Lunch is ok, the clubsandwich was a bit on the “fatty” side (not prepared fresh).
We could start the next round of hole right after lunch which was great. Also hike #10 to #18 were a pleasure to play.
In general, friendly staff, good service, nice course with an ok lunch. Highly recommended for a round of golf.
Buen club, instalaciones modernas equipadas con Toptracer lo que hace que tirar bolas sea divertido. Los profesionales que forman el equipo están a la altura, desde Javier el Caddie Master, Samuel el marshall a los profesores Miguel Natoli y José Cadenas. El campo está bien cuidado con calles anchas y divertido.
Espectacular cancha. Muy bien cuidada. Para todos los niveles de juego.
Un campo divertido, buen diseño, hoyos variados, de greenes grandes, una pena que estaban recientemente pinchados, se ve e Mar desde muchos hoyos. También a mejorar que no hay fuentes de agua potable en el recorrido.
Decent setup, course has good variety, albeit a few holes do have constrained tee offs due to nearby residents, which didn’t go well with my natural right to left. I managed 4 rounds with a buggy and got out early before everyone else, finishing each round quickly, so there is that option if you are a lone golfer in a hurry.
Extremely overpriced for the Golf Course Quality. Lovely Club House but you don’t spend big money to spend 3 to 4 hours in the Club House.
The Course was in a shocking poor quality. Brown bare fairways, greens extremely slow and not cared for. I didn’t mind the hollow holding what I mind was the greens grass was way to hairy. Lots of times no grass at all on fairways just dust and sand eg 11th. When there was a bit of grass it wasn’t cut.
Worst Golf course played on in years.
No nice views at all just construction work all round.
Really really disappointed don’t waste your money.

My friend & I have just finished 3 days at Lauro. We can only describe it as paradise, yes the recent rainfall has helped… the course was in immaculate condition… unlimited golf & apartment ( 5 mins from the club house) for the price we paid was a dream. The staff were extremely friendly and so welcoming, each day we were partnered with 2 others which made our experience unique and we made some great friends from across the globe. We will definitely be back.
Ayer tuvimos una gran suerte con el tiempo. Un día fantástico de golf con sol y todo. El campo tenía los greenes impecables incluso después de la lluvia. Jugamos de 19 al 27, me encantó el recorrido con zonas llanas y algunos hoyos desde zonas más altas, que nos daba una panorámica del lugar. Después comimos barbacoa en el restaurante, que ya nos tenían la zona reservada. Carne de muy buena calidad y todo muy bueno.
Las chicas del Caddie master súper simpáticas y muy eficientes, teniendo en cuenta que ibamos un buen grupo nos atendieron rapidísimo y de forma muy ordenada.
Felicidades al club por todo el día de ayer. Repetiremos seguro!
Just came back from a week stay at Lauro Golf. It was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly, in particular the golf shop staff. Our stay came with breakfast at the clubhouse, which was nothing special, but good enough for the price we paid. The apartment was updated and very spacious. The golf course was beautiful and well taken care of. Unfortunately, our timing wasn’t great as one of the three nine holes was always under maintenance. A bit unlucky, but we still got to play all three nines while were there. For some reason the pins and tees never changed, which was a bit annoying especially given that one of the nine holes was always under maintenance. We ended up playing a nice course nearby for a chance of pace. I hope to be back in the future.

Gespeeld in de ochtend. Mooie uitzichten! Leuke holes met een goed ontwerp, uitdaging genoeg. Fairways op veel plekken veel te nat. Greens hebben heel raar gras, heel traag, dermate slecht dat ik hierom de baan niet zou aanraden.
Al met al een beetje een teleurstelling. Erg jammer, want met greens vergelijkbaar aan golfbanen in de regio zou dit een hele leuke golfbaan zijn?
Advies: speel de baan gerust voor 25€ in de middag, wees voorbereid op teleurstellende greens, maar geniet van het uitzicht.
Het restaurant is trouwens echt top, geweldige locatie met prachtig uitzicht, lekker eten en aardig personeel.
Great 9 hole course in close to impeccable condition. Challenging to play and challenging to walk (but worth it over a buggy). Shame the price is genuinely ridiculous; 50€ for 9 holes at 5PM on a Friday. No wonder the course is empty. Probably won’t be going back despite living a few mins away.

Played this course in early May 2025, really enjoyed it, course was in great condition. Would recommend using a buggy as theres 2 or 3 steep climbs up to tee boxes, having said that, I did walk it and the views are stunning. Plans in place already for May ‘26 and I will return to this course again. Had food in the club house after and it was quite tasty.

A very wet and not well-kept golf course. The views from many of the tee was fantastic, but the look and feel of the course left us feeling that we paid too much for what was offered. It looked like some of the fairways had been dug up by wild boars.

Menu del día a buen precio, que va rotondado y que está muy rico. Totalmente recomendado.
Lugar precioso, campos bien cuidados. Bien ubicado, cerca de la playa y próximo al Eroski. El restaurante es estupendo. Luis es un fenómeno. Buena gente que te alegra el día con sus bromas y buen trato.
Llevan meses en obras con muchas molestias para los clientes.
Campo en bastantes malas condiciones para lo que cobran.
No hay agua para limpiar los palos ni aire para los zapatos.

Heel aardig personeel, uitdagende baan overal de eerste 9 holes. Met veel niveau verschil. Tweede 9 met 2 super par3. Schitterend uitzicht over het landschap en de zee. Uitstekende lokale gerechten voor een zeer goede prijs. Gebouwen zijn schoon, wel gedateerd.
The course is in really bad condition, exept the greens. It is absoluty not worth 90 euros with this condition.
The whole place is a construction site, so its extremely noisy around the clubhouse.
I would recommend Doña Julia or Valle Romano instead.

Me han llevado hoy por primera vez a desayunar y la verdad que me ha encantado, iré más a menudo sin duda. Un lugar acogedor, parking de sobra cerca. Looking for an exclusive golf club in Malaga – this is the place to be. Ample parking, clean bathrooms, excellent greens, great food but poor waiter service.
We ate there on a national holiday there were quite a bit of players on the course and a lot eating on the patio.
Yearly there is a 2400€ membership fee which includes golf car rental.
It is very tricky to get here so have patience also every 5 minutes or so planes flying over. The airport is close by.
The waiter service is very deficient – we had to ask for it 3 times.

Recomiendo el bautismo de golf. Dura 2h y el instructor Óscar está atento a tu técnica para darte trucos aunque tu nivel sea cero. Se realiza un torneo y los 3 clasificados ganan descuentos para los cursos
Con el dress code parece que hubo un lío. A mí me dijeron que llevara falda, a otros polo de manga larga, pero a otros no se dijo nada e iban con pantalón y manga corta y sin problema así que lleva lo que tengas. Mejor no llevar objetos personales al curso porque allí no hay taquilla.

El Club Social parece abandonado, parece que los dueños no quieren que funcione. Los aseos muy deteriorados y sucios, hierros oxidados, baldosas rotas en la entrada. Una verdadera pena, ver un lugar donde viven tantas personas y que siempre esté vacío por el nulo mantenimiento. Lo único que se salva, y no siempre, es el servicio de camareros que hacen lo que pueden.
Buen campo de 18 hoyos par 3. Hoyos muy entretenidos, algunos de ellos complicados como el 3, 4 y 5 (su Amén Corner).
Si acaso se agradecería mejor mantenimiento de las calles y greens. Y mejorar tb el campo de prácticas, un poco “outdated”.
