Super organized, very friendly, even for personal preferences how you would like to learn they are here for you. Special shout to my lovely teacher Alba. I stayed only two weeks but I hoped it had been longer. I’ll probably go again next year

I’m not rating the classes themselves, but the accommodation and this company. I made a mistake by choosing “homestay with a Spanish family,” which turned out to be a tiny, sub-par cubbyhole: a separate entrance, basic equipment, temperatures over 50 degrees, dark with only narrow, tilt-only windows, hot water for one person at most (a gas bottle in the room), and an entrance through a terrace, exposed to the south. It was literally not possible to sleep there, there wasn’t even a desk. All for €648 a week (2 people) – and that’s the main problem, as the price was completely inadequate.
The staff was insistently persistent on the phone (like a telemarketer) and pressured me to choose a place without seeing photos, allegedly to prevent me from “contacting the landlord directly.” They vouched for it with the “school’s good name” and promised we’d be happy. So I’m attaching photos here to let you judge this “good name” for yourself.
We moved out immediately, knowing they would later claim we “should have reported it” – the situation was just too extreme, and I already knew who I was dealing with. I later found out that this process takes several days and they only transfer you to another, similar dump. The only thing left to do was accept this scam. Luckily, for just over half the price of the above, we managed to find a last-minute two-level apartment with air conditioning.
A “nice lady” from reception spoke to me about it, but the only thing she cared about was apparently the exact time we moved out, so they could stop paying the landlord (a very nice man, by the way). She never got back to me, as promised.
It was my mistake for agreeing to “buy a pig in a poke”. I was misled by the high ratings on Google, which I find hard to believe – that’s why I’m warning others not to use their services. There are many other schools in Malaga that aren’t just focused on squeezing money out of people. Now, besides the lost money and stress, I just want to forget about the whole thing.

This school is excellent in all areas. Before the course: the video intake interview, the written preparations and tests. Then the reception and the course itself. I had an incredibly nice and very competent instructor. I had a one to one course. It clicked very well between her and me. For me, the course was mainly for conversation and picking up some grammar that was no longer so clear in my memory. The method that the school uses for this forces you to talk about all kinds of topics in the times that needed refreshing (at least for me). I had a great time! I will definitely go back. Thanks!!! p.s.: the school was 2 streets away from our apartment. Very cool!!!

I enjoyed my time at CLIC and in Malaga. The school is in the centre of the city with my activities with the school. I like the challenge of being immersed in Spanish whilst at CLIC, even outside of classes the staff would speak in Spanish if you were comfortable with it also. The lessons were good and challenging, I always felt like I was learning new concepts and building on grammar. The staff were very kind and welcoming.

I stayed in this school for four months, which allowed me to have the time to fully observe and get to know the type of people that they really are. I’m really disappointed with this school. The administration is super fake and only cares about money. When I asked them to put me in private lessons and even said I didn’t mind paying more, they refused the request, and so for four months I was completely lost in my classes because I hadn’t received the specialized help I had requested for in the beginning.
The accommodation, including the apartment/house we share with other people, is in a terrible state. We pay a lot of money to not even have a coffee machine in the kitchen, and to live in a disgusting place. There are ants in the bathroom and cockroaches in the house. And let’s not forget that there’s mold everywhere!
We pay a lot of money to not even be able to invite someone to stay over. And when we try to negotiate with the school on certain things, they threaten us by saying that they potentially could throw us out of the place in an aggressive way.
In the house they’re were: old falling-apart cabinets, an old smelly broken fridge, the AC in the living room not working, the AC units in the bedrooms rotten and full of mold, the bathroom curtain rotted with mold, the shower wall green and black with mold, and the terrace light not working…
Not to mention, two of the teachers in this school are super young and decided to lash out at me in class one time, and another time one of them was inappropriately provoking me by flirting with a close friend of mine in class. Very disrespectful and immature behaviour.

Sei settimane intense e super gratificanti.

I participated in a Spanish course at B1.1 level for two weeks in July/August 2025. I was completely satified with the school and course atmosphere. All the teachers and staff were super friendly and it was fun to participate in the classes! Didactically, it was a great mix of grammar explanations and exercises, comprehension and active communication/discussions and presentations. The teachers made sure that all participants of the course were systematically involved in all the different learning strategies and activities. Also the location of the school is great in a beautiful and safe area of Malaga and very close to the beach.

Instituto Picasso is, by far, the best language school experience I have ever had! I have gone back over 5 times to study Spanish in the picturesque Mediterranean port city of Malaga, Spain. The school is situated in the cultural center of this ancient city, a block away from a 1000 year old Moorish fortress and castle, ruins of a Roman amphitheater, and subterranean ruins of a Phonecian neighborhood–to name just a few of the cultural wonders that surround the school’s central location. Instituto Picasso is a perfect place to immerse yourself for a one of a kind language learning experience.
The staff of the school are friendly and easy to work with to set up your accommodations and class schedule. The registration process was quick and simple (and surprisingly affordable including both classes, and housing)! There are several great options for housing, whether a private apartment, shared apartment, or homestay, they have accommodations of all types, for all types! The amazing language instructors at the school have countless years of collective teaching experience at all levels and backgrounds. The entire staff at Instituto Picasso are kind, patient and thoughtful people and comfortable to work with. Beyond the great language classes, they offer group activities and events to further engage visiting students, staff, and locals outside of the classroom.
Instituto Picasso is a fantastic place to study Spanish, immerse yourself in the local culture, and meet new and exciting people from all over the world!

In this institute in the center of Málaga you can learn Spanish. It is located in a classic building on one of the most beautiful squares of Málaga. Plaza de la Merced. I started with classroom lessons. In a group of 8 people. In small rooms. Young and old together. Lessons in a relaxed atmosphere. By different teachers. Learning is fun here! And afterwards relax on one of the many terraces in front of the door with a drink and some tapas. Good to practice Spanish right away. Learning Spanish at Instituto Picasso is fantastic.

Instituto Picasso is an amazing school.
The teachers, staff and students are all friendly, welcoming and great to be around.
With the structure of the course, you will learn Spanish with ease in a fun and relaxing environment.
You progress, if you feel ready, and can change levels based on your preference.
Learning a language is a solo journey but Instituto Picasso make you feel like they are alongside you throughout.
Every week there are new activities organised by the school: from learning how to cook Paella, to visiting museums and monuments. There is something for everyone.
The staff are very helpful with any requests that you may have.
I would highly recommend Instituto Picasso to anyone and everyone.

Instituto Picasso is an amazing language school for all language levels and needs. I did two courses here in the last two years. Frist, A2-B1 and recently B2. And I loved every moment of it. All the teachers are extremely professional and put a lot of effort into making lessons educational and at the same time full of great energy and friendly atmosphere. The prices for the courses and accommodation are very fair. There are also additional activities every week besides the classes (both for free and paid) so that everyone can find something for them. Highly recommend this school!

Top Sprachschule!

I took a Spanish-Class for one week at the Malaca Insituto. By far the biggest advantage of the Instituto are the teachers. They create a very pleasant atmosphere during the classes and are always very friendly and open. Another big advantage is also the very international community of students, I had quite some interesting talks with people from other countries I enjoyed a lot.
But there are also some disadvantages:
– The school is not very close to the city centre, you either have to take the bus or a taxi to get there
– Breakfast is ok, but they have a “5 points max” system there to limit the amount of food per student. Quite annoying…
– The receptionists are more or less friendly but certainly not helpful for learning/practising Spanish. At least in my case with my skills when I tried to talk to them on Spanish they gave some kind of “What do you want?” look rather than helping me to express what I want on Spanish

Beware that this school has had employees that have taken advantage bringing intoxicated students home from a school event with no repercussion for this particular activity leader. Yes, the students are sometimes adults, but I would NEVER let anyone I care about attend such an institution.

Schellhammer Business School appears to offer a unique educational opportunity, especially beneficial for those seeking flexibility. The focus on practical application and real-world projects seems to be a major draw, allowing students to immediately apply what they learn. The commitment of the teaching staff towards the well-being and success of each student is a clear indicator of a supportive environment where learners can thrive and develop professionally.
From what I understand, the institution cultivates a global perspective by attracting students and educators from diverse backgrounds. This fosters a truly international atmosphere, likely enhancing networking opportunities and broadening horizons. The focus on high-quality facilities and training methods suggests a dedication to providing a superior learning experience and preparing graduates for a competitive job market.

Studying at Schellhammer was a great experience! The professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and give constructive feedback that really helps you grow. I appreciated the opportunity to put my ideas into real projects and see them come to life. The flexibility to study at a distance while still feeling connected made a big difference for me. The international community here is amazing – full of inspiring, open-minded people. My diploma looks amazing and very professional – I’ll truly miss being part of this university!

This is a so-called school taking advantage of students, especially those in Africa. They ask for an initial deposit of EUR 1000, and ask the students to buy insurance, which costs about EUR 350. After paying all that, the students pay a visa fee, travel to a country with a Spanish embassy or consulate, only to be denied at the last minute. Then the so-called school would refuse to refund the deposit, without a genuine reason. The only explanation they give is that the applicants were informed about the non-refund policy. Most of these applicants were represented by some travel agencies and had no clue about this policy. This is a money-making scheme run by people who have no conscience at all. After reading all the reviews and one stated that there is no actual campus, but the school is run at some part of a hotel premise. The website does not give any detailed information about their fees and policies, but asks for one’s email for the details to be sent. I have tried that a couple of times, but got nothing. The state in which this so-called school is run may be a good reason to get denied by the embassy. Anyone looking to study in Spain should try a good school, but not this one.

I graduated with my bachelors degree in hospitality from here and it was a life changing experience. The teaching staff were well trained, highly professional and taught me everything I needed to know by the books and for the real world. The facilities were of high quality and created a conducive environment for learning and interactions in class and on campus. The school also has a multicultural background of students and staff that allowed us to be a part of a global community.

Just graduated from Schellhammer Business School, and I can honestly say it was a 5/5 experience. The school goes beyond traditional business education it’s focused on ethics, sustainability, and developing real leadership skills.
The international community, small class sizes, and supportive professors made learning feel personal and engaging. I grew a lot not just academically, but also on a personal level.
If you’re looking for a business school with a global mindset and a human approach, this is the place. Plus, studying by the sea in southern Spain? I can’t complain.

As a student currently applying to Schellhammer Business School, I must say the entire process so far has been absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, I felt well-guided and supported. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Singh, who has been incredibly helpful throughout the application journey. His guidance and prompt support made everything smooth and stress-free.
SBS offers exceptional opportunities for students, both on-campus in their beautiful location and through flexible virtual learning options. The academic programs look inspiring and well-rounded, and I’m genuinely excited about the possibilities ahead.
Looking forward to starting this new chapter with SBS!

Great university! I studied BBA here and would definitely choose it again. It taught me valuable life lessons beyond academics.
Tip for future students: Always meet your deadlines and take a photo or screenshot after submitting assignments, just in case. Professors are very helpful—especially Mr. Oswaldo—so don’t hesitate to ask for support.
With a little organization, you’ll have an amazing experience!

Schellhammer Business School is a complete scam.
They market themselves as a legitimate university, but it’s nothing more than a money-making scheme. I enrolled in the Master of Arts in International Relations, only to arrive and find that the entire course syllabus had been changed, without any prior notice. The new content had nothing to do with my field of study. When I confronted the administration, they brushed it off as “normal.” Only after I threatened legal action did they even pretend to care. They quickly threw together a “new” syllabus to appease me, but it was a joke. The professors ignored it entirely and taught whatever they felt like.
To make matters worse, I was the only student in the program. When I asked about it, the head of studies just shrugged and said these things happen. In the second semester, two more students joined, barely enough to call it a class.
Over time, we discovered that everyone was paying wildly different tuition fees. They hide this by handing out so-called “scholarships,” but it’s just a pricing manipulation strategy. If you’re from a wealthier country, they assume you can pay full price. Meanwhile, students from Africa were paying as little as €1,000 for the entire year, while others from Germany were charged the full €10,000+, and students from Poland or Italy somewhere in between. The “scholarship” has nothing to do with need or merit, just how much they think they can get out of you.
The extra charges are endless. They claim student housing is near the school, but it’s far enough that you’re forced to pay an outrageously expensive fee for their private school bus. They find any excuse to squeeze more money out of you.
The administration is a mess. Every person you speak to gives you different information about courses, events, transportation, and rules. There’s zero coordination.
The atmosphere is miserable. No one wants to be there, not the students, staff, nor teachers. The teachers are completely unqualified. They throw up poorly made PowerPoint presentations riddled with grammar errors, copy-pasted from textbooks, and then read them out loud. They don’t answer questions properly, they lack any mastery of the subject, and they’re totally unprepared to teach at the master’s level and university level.
This program didn’t challenge me, didn’t teach me, and didn’t prepare me. I learned nothing of value. If I hadn’t enrolled, I would be in the exact same place.
Avoid this school at all costs.
