Teresa and her team did a terrific job for me closing a very complicated transaction in Torremolinos.

We were buying a new Townhouse from someone who had not yet completed the transaction with the Developer. She was moving away from the area and needed a quick sale. We also needed a mortgage.

There were several difficult challenges to overcome through the course of the process but the team were very creative and persistent in solving them. We are now thrilled with the end result.

I do not recommend Tech and Lex legal services for the digital nomad visa for people of African origin. Lucas and his team did not perform proper due diligence, I used a digital signature for my documentation, and Spanish authorities want wet signatures, and my application was rejected. After receiving a notification that said no, Lucas could have advised me to visit the high court of madrid to appeal, because I was already resident and living in Barcelona but he did not advise me to do that. I lost time, finances, money for translating documents to spanish ( almost $600 ) I was doing my own research and I think if you are not EU or American, look for an older firm. This firm is based in Malaga, so for any challenges that occur, they are unable to sufficiently support.

We were very impressed with the services provided by Tech&Lex during the purchase of our new home in Spain. We spent the majority of the process out of the country but nothing faulted as the team were always a step ahead and extremely proactive in chasing things down and setting up the necessary appointments. The fact that we also spoke zero Spanish was not an issue as the team dealt with everything on our behalf.

The longer story is that we were so lucky to have chosen Gómez Abogados for advice and property purchase. There are many Abogados in Alhaurín el Grande, but none come close to the level of service that we have received through the years. We speak with many friends who give horror stories of their experience when purchasing or selling a property here in Spain.
Our experience could not have been further from this! Francisco and his team made everything as simple and stress free as possible when we bought our home. Both my wife and I are both very detail orientated and were fearful of the issues we had heard about when buying property in Spain. Francisco quickly recognised this and made us feel at ease. It was clear that he was all over it and he would leave nothing outstanding which could be an issue in the future.
I must mention Marta as well. She is such a helpful and nice person, who has never once refused to give us advice or assistance when we have asked for it. This includes times when it was not really within her remit to assist.

We recently purchased a 4 bed holiday home in Alhaurin el Grande with the help from our Spanish lawyer, Francisco Gomez. You can find his business situated on the ground floor behind Viva property agents in Alhaurin el Grande. Purchasing a property in another country can be quite daunting in parts and to have someone to trust and be able to rely on is essential. He is very fair & has very good local knowledge.
Francisco and his team helped us with the notary and actually came with us to help with the paperwork. They also helped with our bank accounts and the set up of all the utilities etc.
