Great hotel, but much larger than we expected. We got a room in one of several buildings, several hundred meters from the beach.||The location is on the outskirts, but peaceful and safe. Good proximity to the beach.||We really appreciated the cleanliness, especially in the rooms. Could have been better in the dining room. ||Better sun loungers by the best pool, but it was so crowded that we lay by the other one. Superb breakfast. ||The shower could have been better in the rooms and the balcony was so small that you couldn't turn around.

The stay was perfect. We had a room with sea view. Sara at the reception gace us the warmest welcome and upgraded us to premium breakfast as it was our wedding anniversary. The food is always fresh and plenty of choice! The staff are friendly and the pkace spotless. A special mention to Mayte whose cocktails are to die for and she looked after me and my husband always a smile and gave the best service. Gracias Mayte!! Absolutely unforgettable holiday at Occidental Torremolinos!

Wij waren met vrienden 12 dagen op vakantie. Het is een leuk hotel, kamers zijn basic en netjes. De kamer word elke dag schoon gemaakt en ook elke dag schone handdoeken.Zwembaden zijn netjes onderhouden, water is wel erg koud. Om bij het zwembad een plaatsje te willen hebben moet je vroeg op. Het hek van het zwembad gaat om 9.00 uur open. Er staat dan een beste rij aan mensen die naar binnen willen, Om zo een beste plek en een ligbed te bemachtigen. Het eten is er prima, goed verzorgd en afwisselend goed van smaak. Het recreatie team zijn selectief met wie ze praten, Engels is niet hun beste kant. Praten voornamelijk met Spaans talige gasten. De ligging van het hotel is vlak aan zee en is prachtig. Er stopt een bus voor de deur. Mensen van bediening en bar personeel zijn vriendelijk en doen hun best voor de gasten. Wat voor ons een verrassing was bij het uit checken wij nergens meer recht ophadden. Wij checken om 12.00 uur uit en vlogen pas om 20.30 uur. We konden geen kamer bij boeken, de lunch koste €25, elk drankje moest apart afgerekend worden. Niet echt gastvrij. Wij hadden all in en 12 dagen en geen 11 1/2 geboekt.Dit zou in de voorwaarden wat beter aangegeven kunnen worden. Kortom een mooi vakantie gehad eindigde voor ons anders dan verwacht.

Appena rientrati da una vacanza fenomenale!! Pulizia impeccabile, si trova ovunque e a qualsiasi ora del giorno qualcuno che sta pulendo. Eravamo con pensione completa e il buffet non ha mai deluso offrendo una varietà di cibi a dir poco eccellete! Animazione top, sebbene mio figlio Alex non abbia ancora 2 anni si è divertito un mondo con la mini dance della sera, spiccano soprattutto i ragazzi dell'animazione Miguel, Diego, Samuel e Isaam mi pare si chiamasse. Lunica pecca ma reception. Zero empatia e zero solarità. Abbiamo chiesto informazioni per la conferma del nostro transfer e la receptionist Andrea, invece di occuparsi lei in prima persona, ha semplicemente digitato il numero dell'assistenza e mi ha dato la cornetta del telefono in mano e ho dovuto arrangiarmi io! Ma che servizio è? Resto veramente ottimo, un complimento per tutto lo staff del buffet!!! Complimenti!

I loved the room, it was very spacious & clean. The housekeeping was excellent. The hotel & environment is great & you just have to cross the road to get to the beach!||The all-in buffet could have been slightly more varied at times. Loved the sea food night!||The staff is very friendly & helpful. I was bummed to see that a Michael Jackson tribute was the week before my stay 😀

From the moment we arrived (group of 6) the staff were lovely - from reception to the restaurant to the bars everyone was so friendly and made our holiday one to remember. We struggled working the shower first night but help was on hand and no problems after that. |We all loved the food and there was always a good selection. Wines and cocktails were great (and we loved the 'chupitos'). The saxophonist by the pool one of the days was amazing. As the beach is just across the road we enjoyed early morning walks. We really loved the dancing at the end of the night - big shout out to the DJ for all the great tunes. Special thanks to Alejandro, Manuel, Isa, Vaquero, Blanca, Louis & Borja. We had such a great holiday and would definitely come back to the Occidental!
