Experiencing the flamenco lunch show at Alergia was absolutely unforgettable. The afternoon began with a beautifully paced lunch—about an hour of enjoying course after course of what I can only describe as some of the best food I’ve ever had. Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and served with impeccable timing. The wait staff was just as lovely—warm, attentive, and made the entire dining experience feel seamless.
After lunch, we were invited inside for the flamenco show, and that’s when the magic truly unfolded. The performance featured one brilliant guitarist, two soulful singers, and two extraordinary dancers—a male and a female—who completely captivated the audience. Their passion, artistry, and energy filled the room, making it so much more than a performance; it felt like being immersed in the heart of Spanish culture.
From start to finish, the timing, the food, the service, and the artistry of the show were orchestrated perfectly. Alergia offers not just a meal and entertainment, but a cultural experience you’ll carry with you long after it’s over.

“Flamenco Alegría is an absolute gem that seamlessly marries breathtaking artistry with outstanding service, creating an unforgettable experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a warm and attentive staff who ensure every aspect of your visit is exceptional. Their genuine enthusiasm sets the perfect tone for the evening ahead.
The performances themselves are nothing short of mesmerizing. The dancers radiate passion and energy, their intricate footwork and expressive movements telling stories that resonate deeply with the audience. Each dancer brings a unique flair, showcasing the diversity and richness of flamenco tradition. The vibrant costumes and dramatic lighting enhance the visual spectacle, making it a feast for the eyes.
Equally impressive are the musicians, whose skillful guitar playing and rhythmic percussion elevate the atmosphere. The live music is expertly woven into the performance, creating a dynamic interplay that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
What truly sets Flamenco Alegría apart, however, is the outstanding service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you feel special, whether it’s recommending the perfect drink to complement your experience or making sure you have everything you need throughout the show. Their attentiveness adds a personal touch that enhances the overall ambiance.
In summary, Flamenco Alegría is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an enchanting evening filled with stunning performances and exceptional service. It’s a celebration of culture, passion, and hospitality that will leave you with cherished memories. Highly recommended!”

It was a good experience here, it may be a tourist trap but it was very enjoyable and the flamenco dancers had a lot of emotion on their face watching each other dance and performing themselves. The singers were great and the guitarist was the highlight I would say. However, the speakers were way too loud needed to put my loop earplugs in. I have seen better in Sevilla but it was still entertaining! I would recommend as a first time experience! They do admit younger children, who at times were laughing and taking the mickey which is distracting.

We bought tickets on the day of the performance and were lucky to find one. The show was mesmerizing and an hour passed away before we knew it! Not only the audience but the performers were enjoying themselves too – that further elevated the act!! Absolutely recommended.

I got to see a show on a Monday and it was packed – booked online earlier in the day. I got the “premium” option which gets you a complimentary beverage and seating up close to the stage. If you go that route they will give you a red little plastic rectangular token which you give to the bar tender for your drink, then you wait for the manager to tell you where to sit. Seating is a little cramped but honestly it was worth it. I got goosebumps, it was really a beautiful show with great energy and musicianship, not to mention the wonderful dancers. If I get a chance I will go again before I go home.

The flamenco show was clearly well-rehearsed, with the singers, guitarist, and dancers delivering a high-level performance full of precision and emotion. The venue’s acoustics were great, and the lighting and background visuals complemented the show beautifully. Everything felt thoughtfully designed.
The staff were professional and helpful throughout. Tickets were €30 per person, which is in line with other flamenco shows in Andalusia. There was also a good variety of drinks available for purchase inside.

Een geweldige Flamenco show mogen zien.

Nice spot it is advice for a drink or just a bite. The price are pretty high compared to the quantity of food you get.
Quality is okay the service is really great and the people are more than welcoming.
We tried the terrace for lunch not the restaurant at night so I can’t say nothing about the night atmosphere that seems pretty nice.

Great place to eat. Good selection of food from Octopus (which was really well cooked) to beef. Fish dishes were really good and the selection of wine was really good too. We booked to sit inside and watch the flamenco dancing with singing. This was a good show and happening while you eat your food so good entertainment. You could also sit outside if you didn’t want to watch the dancing. Would recommend. Staff were really nice and friendly. We had 3 courses and was reasonable price for the quality.

Door Get Your Gide hier terecht gekomen voor een diner met Flamengo show. Show was heel mooi!

I had been here once before, a few years ago, bringing visiting family to dinner and a flamenco show. We had a nice time, but I hadn’t been back. This restaurant has changed hands and I tried their new brunch offerings. The menu is on point! There is just the right mix of sweet and savory! I shared the pancakes and a goat cheese toast. Both were delicious! The service was lovely and it was nice sitting outside in the plaza. I will be returning to try dinner.

Vino Mio!

Jestem zadowolony z pokazu flamenco. Wszystkie występy były z sercem, energiczne i z pasją.

I attended the flamenco show in Torremolinos on 25th of July, and unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations, especially compared to the flamenco performance I experienced in Málaga twice. While the individual solo performances were impressive (especially gentlemans), the group performances lacked synchronization, which affected the overall impact of the show.
In addition, there was noticeable confusion during ticket controls and seating arrangements, creating a chaotic experience at the beginning. The seating itself was also uncomfortable – the chairs were extremely upright, and I even had to change seats in the middle of the show due to back discomfort. If you spend your holiday in Torremolinos you can consider but if you have time, try to see a show in Malaga. The male singer is also singing in another show in Malaga center that l have seen twice.
I gave 4 stars because of my passion and respect for the art of flamenco.

As a professional touring/session musician and multi-instrumentalist and a muzo and lover of different musical cultures i had to see this show. Whether you’re a muzo, musician or just an appreciator or lover of dance and music, this is a must see show.
At the beginning I was quite uneasy in my chair as I seen no live musicians on stage and backing tracks blaring from the PA.
I then breathed a sign of relief and said “Thank God” when i seen the live musicians enter, as live music just makes for a better performance and has a much better feel to it (I would have loved to have seen the live musicians on from the beginning to be honest) To see the musicians improvise and feed off each other’s energies as well as the dancers feeding off the musicians energies and vice versa and the players and dancers feeding off the audience. It was just magic!
Highly recommend this show. Sheer skill, talent and professionalism. Will always come back to see this show whenever I return to Torremolinos without fail and urge anyone travelling through to go experience it.
Waiting staff are extremely friendly and the taberna is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere and really sets the tone for the performance before it even begins.
Peace and Love! ✌️❤️

I visit Kelipe year after year for many years now and the performers never cease to amaze me. You can never tire of Kelipe. Each show is unique, authentic, and improvised at times which makes it so much more fun and so pleasurable to follow. You will feel like you are part of them. All of the artists are superb and the respect they have on stage for each other is evident as well as the good communication between them during the show which is so important. Amit the guitarist is working magic on his guitar and Suzanna,my dear Suzanna will never cease to amaze me!Her emotion, movement, expression, and energy! She transforms to another plane and dimension. It is not necessary to know Spanish to understand and feel Kelipe. The emotion and expression alone will transport you there. My respect and admiration to Kelipe!!

Absolutely amazing experience
Kelipe offers an authentic flamenco show that truly exposes the depth of the flamenco culture, not a touristy performance. The 90 minutes flew by, full of passion and intensity. Special highlight to Suzanna, whose dancing was powerful and moving, and Azucaria, the guitarist, whose skill and emotion were unforgettable. The warm hospitality and intimate setting made it even more special. Highly recommended!
Must have experience while visiting Malaga!

I watched different Flamenco shows, including several others in Malaga, but this is really different from the others. This is not a “show”, this is a rollercoaster of different feelings; sensitivity, drama, joy, pride, pain… Therefore, in the end, as you are leaving the event hall, you will feel exhausted but very fulfilled. Big applause to the whole group. The incredibly talented guitarist who plays the guitar almost like an extension of his body; the two strong voices, who not only sing but “live” the songs; and Susana, who deserves a special attention here: Ah Susana! Dear Susana! What have you done to us, Susana! You shot everyone on hearts with your steps, your sound, your art, your eyes, your face expressions, your passion. You were the driver of that rollercoaster. You are an absolute “ecole” in Flamenco.
Dani, the coordinator of the show. I didn’t forget you, man. Muchas Gracias.
A little note to the future guests: Try to book at the front row to see the steps closely. It is really worth, believe me.

The performance was amazing! The performers were so talented, and I loved the music and dancing.
It’s a small venue, so it feels very cozy and authentic. My only complaint is that the chairs were pretty uncomfortable, especially when sitting for such an extended period of time.

Nice place. We were there on White night. First we went to see the museum, then the show. The only thing is that I don’t understand people, who come to show and eat all the time. There was a table next to us like that.

Frequently Asked Questions about Flamenco Shows in Malaga
What exactly is flamenco?
Flamenco is a profound and multifaceted art form originating from Andalusia, Spain. It's a combination of song (cante), dance (baile), and musical accompaniment (toque), often accompanied by instruments like the guitar, percussion, and handclapping (palmas). It’s characterized by its passion, emotional depth, and complex rhythms. It’s more than just entertainment; it’s an expression of culture and history.
Where are flamenco shows typically held in Malaga?
Flamenco shows can be found throughout Malaga, ranging from traditional "tablaos" – intimate, dedicated performance spaces – to larger venues such as theaters and cultural centers. You’re likely to find performances in the historic city center, particularly in areas like Calle Carcer and near the Roman Theatre. Some hotels and restaurants also host smaller flamenco performances.
What’s the difference between a "tablao" and a theater performance?
A "tablao" is a traditional flamenco venue offering a more intimate and authentic experience. Performances are often less formal and can be more spontaneous. Theater performances are generally more structured, with a scripted program and often incorporate elements designed for a larger audience. Both offer unique perspectives on flamenco, but the atmosphere and style differ significantly.
How long do flamenco shows usually last?
The duration of a flamenco show varies, but most performances last between 60 and 90 minutes. Some tablaos may offer slightly longer or shorter shows. It’s always a good idea to check the show details before attending to confirm the expected length.
What should I expect during a flamenco performance?
During a flamenco performance, expect to witness powerful singing, intricate guitar playing, and expressive dancing. The dances often involve complex footwork, graceful arm movements, and passionate storytelling through movement. Applause and encouraging shouts ("¡Olé!") are common and expected from the audience – it shows appreciation for the performers.
Is it necessary to understand Spanish to enjoy a flamenco show?
No, it’s not necessary to understand Spanish to appreciate a flamenco show. While the lyrics of the songs (cante) often tell stories, the emotional impact of the performance is conveyed through the music, dance, and overall energy. Focus on the physicality, the musicality, and the passion of the artists.
What is the typical dress code for attending a flamenco show?
There isn’t a strict dress code for attending a flamenco show. However, it’s generally recommended to dress smart casual. While jeans and a t-shirt are acceptable, avoiding overly casual attire like beachwear is polite. Remember, it’s a cultural performance, and showing respect through your attire is appreciated.
Are flamenco shows suitable for children?
Flamenco shows can be enjoyable for children, but it depends on the child’s age and attention span. The music and dance can be captivating, but the themes explored in some songs (cante) might be complex for younger children. It's best to consider the child’s maturity level before bringing them to a performance.
How can I purchase tickets for a flamenco show in Malaga?
Tickets for flamenco shows can be purchased in several ways. You can often buy them online through the venue’s website or through ticketing platforms. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets at the box office of the venue, or through local tourist offices. Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak season.
What are some things to avoid doing during a flamenco show?
To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for everyone, it's best to avoid photographing or recording the performance without permission, as it can distract the artists. Refrain from talking or making noise during the show. Put your mobile phone on silent and avoid using bright screens. Showing respect and appreciation for the performers is key to preserving the authenticity of the experience.
