GILMAR Consulting Inmobiliario - Inmobiliaria Málaga

Note: I am publishing this review in English, because most of the other reviews are in Spanish. I think that it will be helpful to direct my comments primarily to native English speakers considering a move to Málaga. My experience with Gilmar Consulting Inmobiliaria and, specifically Michela Panteghini, Directora Comercial, Departmento de Alquileres Málaga, has been one of the best real estate experiences in my 50 year personal history of buying, selling and leasing properties. In my previous life I was also engaged as a salesperson and leasing agent of commercial and residential properties for a period of several years. As a result I have experience on all sides of property sales and rental transactions as buyer or lessee and as a representative for buyers, sellers, lessors and lessees. I also have bought and sold an apartment and leased an apartment in another Comunidad so I am familiar with the Spanish property market. From my first interaction with Michela I have found her to be honest, straightforward and professional. I sent a message in response to a rental listing and she responded by phone within a couple of hours. In the evening of the same day I was able to see the property. Over the next two days we communicated multiple times and on the morning of the third day I was able to see the flat again. The same afternoon I made a deposit to hold the apartment. The negotiation process for the lease was smooth and seamless over the next two weeks. By the time I arrived in Málaga to occupy my new home the utilities had been transferred without any assistance from me, the owner had painted the entire apartment and it had been left spotlessly clean. Michela has continued to be a valuable resource for any questions I have had or local referrals I have needed. Since I engaged her services I have referred two other Americans to her. She has found housing for one and is working with the second person. I give her the highest possible recommendation I can offer to anyone seeking property in Málaga.
